Approbation of scientific research of SHEI "UzhNU" arising out of the Project “Innovative university - tool of integration to European educational and research area”

An international exhibition "Education and Career - Student's Day 2015" was held in Kyiv on November 12-14, 2015. Over 100 higher educational institutions from Ukraine and abroad participated in it.
SHEI "UzhNU" was presented in two thematic categories in which it received the highest awards such as the Grand Prix in the category "Innovative development of education and modern pedagogical technologies" based on the results of research materials obtained during the execution of the scientific project “Innovative University – tool of integration to European educational and research area” (№ 21470150), implemented by the Educational and Research Institute for European Integration Studies of UzhNU (director – Ivan Artomov) with the financial support of the International Visegrad Fund.
UzhNU display booth and presentation attracted considerable attention of both participants of the exhibition and esteemed guests - the President of NAPS Vasyl Kremen, Deputy Minister of Education of Ukraine Andriy Hevko, and highly esteemed representatives of foreign delegations.
ІІ.
On the 27th of November, 2015 the meeting of the Academic Council of UzhNU was held. The presentation was made by the manager of the research project, Ph.D., Associate Professor Ivan Artomov. The Academic Council of the university recognized successful approbation of research results obtained by the Institute for European Integration Studies in the course of implementation of the scientific project “Innovative University – tool of integration to European educational and research area”.

On December 8, 2015 according to the calendar of events of the international scientific project, its applicant - Educational and Research Institute for European Integration Studies of UzhNU - organized another round table discussion "Topical aspects of the university innovative development concept". Its goal was to discuss the topical issues of forming the concept of innovative development of universities, developing mechanisms for the transformation of UzhNU into an innovative type of university.
The discussion was joined by the members of the international expert group, vice-rectors, deans, researchers and post-graduate students of Uzhhorod National University.
A special collection of scientific works "Geopolitics of Ukraine: Past and Present", which is published twice a year by the Institute for European Integration Studies, will be published as a result of the round table discussion. This edition has an international ISSN registration number allowing users in more than 100 countries to get acquainted with its materials.
