Domestic and international experts discussed the problems and prospects of cross-border cooperation

On June 4-5th, the Faculty of International Policy, Management and Business of Uzhhorod National University and Satu Mare county museum (Romania) held an International scientific conference "Problems and prospects of cross-border cooperation: the experience of the Carpathian Euroregion". The conference was held as part of the project “Interactive institutional cooperation. History, traditions and culture without borders” HUSKROUA /1101/140.

A collection of scientific articles based on the materials of the conference will be published. 13 books on the preservation of historical heritage of Ukrainian and Romanian peoples will be issued as a result of the project. It is planned to publish the books in Ukrainian, Romanian, English, and some in Hungarian.

After the breakout sessions a tour to Mukachevo castle was organized for the participants. Diplomats and scientists were able not only to discuss the important issues of cross-border cooperation, but also get to know more about the history of our land and see the magnificent views of a considerable part of Transcarpathia from the castle hill.
