German partners of UzhNU visited the Faculty of International Economic Relations
This week, a delegation from the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany) is visiting members of the charitable organization “Ukraine-Pfalz” in Transcarpathia. A successful cooperation with the German-Ukrainian charity fund started in Transcarpathia a quarter of a century ago. Its activities are aimed at providing support in the area of healthcare and education to the representatives of German national minority and other people, regardless of nationality.
The fund provides special support to Ukrainian universities by introducing educational exchange programs for students of German studies and teachers. In March, when they celebrated the 25th anniversary of the charitable organization in Germany, the Ukrainian delegation handed over a gratitude from UzhNU for long-term cooperation to the head of the organization Mr. Rudi Job. During these years, 35 of our students were able to study at the University of Koblenz-Landau. Since recently the above mentioned university has been able to host 6 Ukrainian students for a semester-long internship.
"We really appreciate the fact that due to this cooperation our students have the opportunity to study and undergo internship in Germany. It’s important both for language practice and for professional growth of our students,"- said Mykola Palinchak, the dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations. - This year, the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhhorod provided our faculty with new linguaphone equipment, which will certainly help students to master foreign languages, including German."
As the head of the "Ukraine-Pfalz" organization informed, the sixty-sixth student from Ukraine is going to Koblenz-Landau University next semester.
