International UzhNU Alumni Association has been founded
On Friday, March 24 2017, a constituent assembly of the founders of NGO "International Alumni Association of SHEI "Uzhhorod National University" was held.
The founders identified the following purposes of activity of the Association:
• joining efforts of UzhNU alumni of all generations, preservation and enhancement of university’s traditions and spiritual values;
• protection of social, economic, artistic and other interests of its members.
At the constituent assembly, the members approved the Statute of the NGO, elected the chair and members of the Board.
Oleksandr Slyvka, the first vice-rector of UzhNU, was elected as a chairman of the Board.
During the meeting, it was also discussed what steps were to be taken to invite UzhNU alumni to cooperate.
