Lawyers of UzhNU and Charles University in Prague expanded co-operation and signed another Cooperation Agreement
On December 22nd, 2017, on the eve of Christmas Day, the deputy dean for international relations of the Law Faculty of UzhNU, the director of the SRI for ecclesiastical and state law and church and state relations, associate professor Oleksandr Bilash (Archimandrite Yevfrosyn) and the deputy dean for international relations of the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague, Prof. JUD, Milan Damohorský, DrSc. held a working meeting in Prague (Czech Republic).
The meeting, which was held on behalf of the Dean of the Faculty of Law of UzhNU, Professor Yaroslav Lazur, was attended by a member of the Rector’s Collegium of Charles University in Prague, Prof. ThDr. Jan Blahoslav Lášek, Dr.h.c.mult and the Head of the International Department of the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague, Dr JUDr. David Kohout, Ph.D.
During the meeting, a new expanded Cooperation Agreement between the Law Faculties of Uzhhorod National University and Charles University in Prague was signed. The Agreement provides for bilateral semester-long exchange of students, doctoral students and faculty members as part of the additional mobility component; partnership participation of teachers, researchers and students in international projects and programs funded by the European Commission and the International Visegrad Fund; participation in scientific conferences, seminars organized by partner-faculties; publication of scientific articles in the top scientific journals, etc.
