Ludmyla Symochko, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Biology, represented UzhNU at the International Congress in Turkey
International congress IMASCON took place in Turkey on April 26-28, 2019. A large-scale event, which was attended by over 600 participants from 9 countries, covered such topical areas as globalization and its consequences, climate change, environmental monitoring, ecosystem management, environmental pollution, food security, sustainable development, etc.
UzhNU was represented by Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Entomology and Biodiversity Preservation of the Faculty of Biology, Senior Research Associate of the Research Institute of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology of Mucous Membranes, Ludmyla Symochko, who was invited by the organizers of the congress as keynote speaker.
At the plenary session, she delivered the report "Food Security and Human Health", which presented the results of many years of research and analyzed the environmental and microbiological aspects of food safety.
During the event a number of working meetings were held, where the main directions of international cooperation between the representatives of universities from different countries were discussed.
