Programmers of UzhNU took part in ACM-ICPC World Finals 2017 (USA)
The international collegiate programming contest ACM-ICPC World Finals 2017, which was attended by 128 teams of students from around the world, was held in the USA. Three Ukrainian teams, including the team of UzhNU «Magical pony», got to the finals.
According to https://icpc.baylor.edu/worldfinals/results the positions of the Ukrainian teams in the final table are the following: Lviv National University - 20, Uzhhorod National University - 34, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv - 56.
The team of Uzhhorod National University «Magical Pony» is made up of the students of the Faculty of Information Technologies Serhiy Nagin, Yehor Bobyk and Taras Novokhatskyi. The coach of the team is the head of the department of information management systems and technologies, associate professor OIeksandr Mitsa.
