Students of UzhNU took part in sporting events on the occasion of the International Student Sports Day
Sports events on the occasion of the International Student Sports Day were organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the Sports Student Union of Ukraine and were held in the sports complex “Yunist” on September 20, 2018. This holiday is celebrated for the first time in Ukraine, although it was initiated by UNESCO in 2015. The organizer of the youth sports events is the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
Guests and participants were entertained with masterly performances in rhythmic gymnastics presented by the students of the Faculty of Health and Physical Education of UzhNU. Young fencers also demonstrated their skills. About 300 students of UzhNU and other higher educational institutions of the Transcarpathian region participated in the sports event.
