UzhNU presented its achievements and potential during the Days of Uzhhorod in Kosice
Last week, the Days of Uzhhorod took place as part of the traditional Days of Ukraine in Kosice, Slovakia. This year, the cities of Uzhhorod and Kosice celebrate the 25th anniversary of their twinning, so on the occasion of the anniversary, the authorities of the regional center of Transcarpathia tried to present the potential of the city as extensively as possible. They also did their best to present the opportunities and benefits of the educational sphere of the region. Therefore, at the invitation of the administration of the city of Uzhhorod, the team of UzhNU also went to Kosice to present our university.
Uzhhorod National University was represented by the staff of the Department of International Affairs, the Faculty of Information Technologies and the Center for Innovation and Development.
A lot of visitors of Culturpark were interested in our university. Journalists were mainly interested in the issue of international cooperation of UzhNU, especially its participation in European exchange programmes and training of foreign students at our university, particularly the ones from Slovakia.
“We are grateful to the Uzhhorod City Council for the opportunity to present the potential of our university to the residents of Kosice. And we are encouraged by the fact that the exposition of UzhNU - a university with European character - has attracted many residents of the beautiful European city of Kosice." Said Alyona Yurchuk, the Director of the Center for Innovation and Development of UzhNU.
