UzhNU scholars fruitfully worked at the National Forum "UKRAINE 2030"

The focus of the Forum, which took place on June 14, 2018, at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", included intelligent governance, human capital, matrix and clusters of the national economy, implementation of the program “Horizon 2020”, and generalization of the stages of implementation of the Sustainable Development Doctrine "Ukraine 2030".

The Doctrine is developed by a group of domestic scientists in the field of economy and social sciences on the basis of the methodology by the UN, the World Bank, the World Economic Forum in Davos, as well as the national scenarios of the KPI project "Foresight 2016-2018".

The researchers from about 50 leading Ukrainian universities and research institutions, and representatives of business circles of our country are part of the national network of developers and partners, including Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, SHEI "Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University”, National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, etc.

 The works of UzhNU scholars were also presented at the forum. In particular, the Associate Professor of the Department of International Studies and Public Communications, the director of the Center for Sustainable Development, PhD in Political Science Hanna Melehanych, as a participant of the panel meeting on strategic communication, presented her report on the networking principles of implementation of the UN 2030 sustainable development goals in Ukraine.

During the meeting with the Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine M.Z. Zhurovsky and the Director General of the KPI Science Park V.M. Hnat, the head of the Department of International Economic Relations of UzhNU, the director of the Institute for Public Administration and Regional Development, Doctor of Economics, Professor Volodymyr Prykhodko discussed the implementation of the foundations of innovative and research universities, the activity of science parks and start-up schools as tools for invention, entrepreneurial initiative and innovative development.
