Summer University. Afterword
During the three weeks of the first Summer University at UzhNU, three dozen of the most talented schoolchildren from Uzhhorod got acquainted with UzhNU, visited different faculties, departments, museums, laboratories, and even the courtroom, saw interesting experiments, talked to the lecturers and students. They also went on excursions to Mukachevo, Voyevodyno and Chynadiyevo, played sports games, relaxed and had a good time, because student life is not just about learning.
Let us remind you that it became possible to implement the project due to the cooperation of UzhNU with Uzhhorod City Council. At the closing ceremony of the Summer University, Ihor Korol and the deputy mayor of Uzhhorod Oleksandr Bilak congratulated the tenth graders with the successful completion of the three-week course and gave them certificates and memorable souvenirs.
By the way, some of the participants of the Summer University have already decided which faculty they would join the following year, including the Faculties of Geography, Mathematics, Biology, Philology, International Relations and Foreign Philology.
At the end of the Summer University, an anonymous survey was carried out to get the feedback from the participants of the Summer University about the three weeks spent at UzhNU.
The survey showed that all the young people were satisfied with the time spent in the Summer University, the way it was organized, and the activities.
