In 2007-2009 the Institute three times has won competitions for science projects, which was announced by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for scientific research with state funding.

The result of the realization of first two projects "Development of scientific-methodological and organizational support for the integration of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine to the content of training students for specialty “International Relations "in higher education and its pilot implementation at the regional level," are:

• development and printing of six tutorials and three collections of scientific papers on materials held in the course of the project international scientific conference with the participation of senior officials of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, consulate-general of neighboring EU Member States, representatives of the MFA of Ukraine in the field and scientists;
• about the appropriate level of developed and released during project tutorials is the fact that four of them have the Seal of the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports "Recommended as a textbook for students";
• the results give reason to believe that the goal of the project is reached, and the results will be relevant contribution to solving one of the important tasks of higher education in Ukraine - training specialists, scholars and experts of state policy in the field of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration , development of educational standards and elements of its teaching provision;
• extremely important is that the Council of Rectors of universities and academic councils in Transcarpathia and the scientific Council of Transcarpathian State University, having heard the report on the results of the project, decided to recommend to the Regional Department of Education to implement the learning process of educational institutions at the regional level results project - teaching courses for teaching aids, four of which have received the stamp of Education of Ukraine.

In addition, it should be noted that the tasks of these projects contributed to:

• updating of scientific developments into eight modern editions of the series "European Integration: Ukrainian Dimension";
• obtaining accurate results of monitoring of public opinion on the attitude to Ukraine joining the EU and NATO, which will make the appropriate adjustments to the forms and methods of public awareness of these issues, will help improve the training of specialists and experts to implement the state policy on European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, development of educational standards, individual elements of training and methodological support;
• support the information needs of government agencies involved in the realization of Ukraine's European integration, improvement and updating of complex information processes not only for professionals but also the general public.

Today the Institute has been working at the execution of the research project according to the fundamental study of "Conceptual Foundations of Euroregional Cooperation of Ukraine in Terms of Integration and Globalization Processes.

During the first stage of research, the following tasks were decided:

I. It was studied the Social and philosophical problems of integration, analyzed the strategies of this process and its trends in today's world space. The research results obtained during the first stage, were published in the monograph "The Philosophy of integration."

II. The tendencies of integration processes in formation of the European Higher Education Area.

III. Made in the research analytical assessment of the formation of a single European educational and scientific space were contained in the collective monograph "Integration into the European educational environment: achievements, problems and prospects", prepared by scientists of ZakDU and other universities of Ukraine and neighboring EU Member - Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Poland.

IV. National and foreign research on patterns of integration, particularly in the formation of the European educational space was analyzed; modern scientific achievements of the problem were generalized. Proceedings the international conference "Improving the quality of education in universities" a collection of scientific papers "Geopolitics Ukraine: History and Modernity" was released.

V. The place and role of the Euroregional cooperation between Ukraine in the structure of the integration process were determined. Scientific result is designed as a collection of research papers on scientific – practical conference “Ways to improve efficiency of transborder cooperation at new Eastern border of EU”, held by the project “Borders for People” in Stará Lesná, Slovak Republic on September 18-19, 2012 within implementation of ENPI Cross border Cooperation Program Hungary – Slovakia – Romania – Ukraine 2007 – 2013..

VI. In pursuance of the second stage the Euro-regional cooperation priorities of Ukraine in accordance with the key priorities of its foreign and domestic policy was analyzed. The problems of Ukraine Euroregional cooperation and their solutions, particularly in the context of European educational space were determined. It was monitored the Euroregional new areas of cooperation and found the best mechanisms to increase its effectiveness.

The generalization of the results of the second stage are:

preparation and publication of:

• Collection of scientific papers "Euroregional cooperation between Ukraine and its integration potential" Scientific Papers of  Round Table of Experts (Uzhgorod, April 20, 2012);
• Collection of scientific papers: "The geopolitics of Ukraine: History and Modern times";
• The collection contains scientific papers, articles and reports of the international scientific – practical conference “Ways to improve efficiency of transborder cooperation at new Eastern border of EU”, held by the project “Borders for People” in Stará Lesná, Slovak Republic on September 18-19, 2012 within implementation of ENPI Cross border Cooperation Program Hungary – Slovakia – Romania – Ukraine 2007 – 2013.;
• The textbook "The conceptual and legal framework for the formation of the European educational space;
• The teaching aid "Problems of Euroregional cooperation of Ukraine";
• publication in publications six scholary articles by the project issues research;
• preparation and defense of master's work on issues of research of research work under the guidance of I.V.Artyomov.

In July 2013 there was prepared reasonably requested to perform the following research work on "Development of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the modernization of social policy in the context of Ukraine Association Agreement with the European Union", which is now on the expertise of MES of Ukraine as a member of the second round of competitive research projects.

The development, publication and introduction into curricula textbooks-complexes of new generation that have been tested and have appropriate positive feedback from university students. They form two training complexes.

The structure of educational-methodical complex on the subject "Problems and prospects of Ukraine's integration into the European Union", designed by the Institute of European integration studies can be illustrated as follows:

All editions (except teaching aids) have the Seal of the Ministry of Education and Science "Recommended as a textbook for students". The value of these books is that they all exist in electronic form as e-learning books, praised the students and faculty.
