Due to the need to implement the concept of sustainable development and on the basis of an understanding of its three main points of view: economic, social and environmental, which need to be implemented at the state, regional and individual city level, for example, Uzhhorod and at the university level, as well as for the purpose of dissemination of this approach among the students of the youth, the decision of the Academic Council of UzhNU from 24.03.2015 created Center of Sustainable Development , the corresponding order of the rector of UzhNU was issued from 27.03.2015. Anna Melehanych, Ph.D. - the assistant professor of the Department of International Studies and Social Communications is appointed on a voluntary basis.
